What classes do you need to take in college to become a pediatrician?
Well im a freshman and i want to be a pediatrician but i have no idea what classes to take or what to major in. I mean do i have to take a pre-med class and then a medical class? I mean please help me out a bit. Thanks so much.

- You'd start out at a 4-year college or university, major in anything, and take the premed classes in bio, chem, physics, math, and English. You can do this at just about any 4-year school. Then you'd have another 4 years of medical school, followed by 3+ years of residency in pediatrics.
- What eri said. But might I add that pediatricians are pretty much really underpaid and overworked, compared to most other medical professions.
